Facts and Milestones: 2003-2004

2004

  • Centric Events’ Outsourcing Strategies Conference (Las Vegas, US) Participation. Alexis Sukharev, President and CEO of Auriga Inc., made a keynote presentation, “Thought Leader Insight: Russia - Another Option”.
  • CeBIT 2004 (Hannover, Germany) Participation.
  • Auriga opened its new development center in Kazan as an integral addition to Auriga’s existing U.S. and Moscow offices with the primary focus on developing and maintaining enterprise applications and Linux software.
  • Auriga presented new statistical analysis and research of Russian IT Graduates to better understand and assess Russia’s IT capabilities in terms of the nation’s technology resources.
  • RUSSOFT and Fort Ross merged under the name of RUSSOFT. Alexis Sukharev, Auriga President and CEO, was elected into the new Board of Directors by unanimous vote.
  • Auriga opened up a new building for Moscow Head Office. Situated the territory of NICEVT (Scientific Center for Electronic Technology), the new 4-storey is specifically designed to meet Auriga’s needs and to accommodate both the Russian branch management as well as software development centers for Auriga clientele, such as CROC (Russia) and Dräger Medical (USA).

2003

  • Ernst & Young named Auriga as one of the five leading Russian offshore services providers
  • Auriga became a member of the U.S. IT associations:
    • NEBATA, New England Business and Technology Association;
    • New Hampshire High Tech Council (NHHTC);
    • Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH);
    • Massachusetts Telecommunications Council (MTC);
    • MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge;
    • Secure Digital Association (SDA).
  • Auriga joined Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute (SEI) to support the company’s commitment to quality and business process improvement efforts.
  • Auriga started bringing its internal processes into conformity with the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) standard, and underwent the official Gap Analysis.
  • Auriga co-sponsors Aberdeen Group report on Russian Offshore IT Outsourcing Industry.
  • Auriga started driving CIS and European partnerships.
  • Auriga developed and produced Remote Monitoring and Control Station RMCS-L16S/01—a device that allows to remotely control embedded or industrial computers, boards, or systems in a lab or in a production environment.
  • Auriga launched a dedicated team for Dräger Medical, a Dräger and Siemens Company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of medical equipment.
