Auriga President to Provide Analytical Insights into Benefits of Offshoring to Russia for U.S. Businesses

Alexis Sukharev, President and CEO of Auriga Inc., a U.S.-Russian provider of offshore, offsite, and onsite software development services, will make a keynote presentation, “Thought Leader Insight: Russia - Another Option”, at Centric Events’ Outsourcing Strategies 2004 Conference to be held in Las Vegas, March 3-5, 2004. The conference will provide focused sessions which examine the most prominent trends in business process and IT outsourcing today.

Alexis Sukharev will offer an in-depth analysis of the current trends and prospects of the Russian offshore software services industry, which is quickly evolving into a high-profile global outsourcing provider. Alexis will discuss developments in Russia’s technology capabilities, deep pool of cutting-edge software engineering talent, and improved business operating environment. Additionally, session attendees will gain new insights on the specific characteristics of the Russian IT outsourcing industry that present a great new opportunity for U.S. companies. Alexis will co-present the session with Daniel Satinsky, President of the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce of New England, on Thursday, March 4, 3:15 PM - 4:00 PM PST.

“Leading Russian offshore outsourcing providers are quickly catching up with the global best-in-class standards and moving from ‘providing services’ to ‘providing value”, said Alexis Sukharev. “This presentation will evince that offshoring with Russia is a ‘win-win’ strategy for U.S. companies. This strategy is competitive and often complementary to offshoring with countries such as India.”

Alexis Sukharev is a recognized expert in the field of Offshore IT Outsourcing and the author of "India: Targeting for the Status of a Global IT Superpower. Indian Government Software Policies and their Benefits." He is a frequent speaker at business and industry conferences worldwide.
